Scott).The American Dream is what every American wants to achieve. Which is basically wealth and a good looking spouse. Well this is exactly what Dexter Green wanted from the time he was 14 years old. He starts off working as a caddie at the Sherry Island Golf Club to associate and make connections wit the wealthy heap there. He wanted not association with glittering things and people, but wanted the glittering things themselves (Fitzgerald).
